Linda Taft Walburn

Inspiration for my fiber work is accessed through a meditative process that is a constant dance and dialogue with all steps of creating from designing to dyeing, printing, stitching, and beading. Whatever the series subject might be, color is always a dominant theme. Surfaces are dense with images, color, and design, heavily machine stitched and embroidered to encourage the viewer to stop long enough to find his or her own meditative center.
